Peter Zwicker

Peter Zwicker is a professional photographer based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

Photography is a medium upon that permits Peter to reflect on the world as he sees it. For Peter, his passion for life and photography go hand in hand. Using his photography he can lose himself in the beauty and rawness of nature and our environment. He has jokingly said that photography has saved him from himself. To say that Peter is obsessive about photography may be an understatement; he likes to refer to it as a healthy passion.

Peter started his photographic journey with family, travel and other life milestones. It has only been in later life that Peter had the time and passion to pursue photography on a serious level.

Peter has been published locally, regionally and internationally and known for his pictorials of Nova Scotia. He has been published in the National Geographic book of UNESCO Canada, captured the images for a book on the famed Bluenose and a book on the history of Black Loyalists in Nova Scotia.
